Appointed personally by the goddess Nespera in the Cthonic realm of Mag Duinn, the Snáithe Airgid is a coven of thirteen powerful magicians who were meant to rule the land as Her direct representatives. As a token of her bond with these witches, she gave each of them a part of her body, imbuing them with a divine gift and an endless lifespan. These relics stood as the symbol of their divine pact.

Betrayal

One of the members of the coven, a gifted seer and youngest of the witches, Bancott, saw a vision of a merciless coup within the coven that would lead to the emergence of a great evil. The dream haunted her so deeply that she brought it to Nespera, who dismissed her concerns; she instructed Bancott that the future may occasionally be glimpsed, but never questioned. If the fates had charted this course, then it would come to pass regardless of what they did to safeguard the coven.

Unfortunately, Bancott had see the truth of the coming days, and after the arrival of Nazerack, the triplets of the coven put their uprising into motion, which shattered the Airgid and sent the members into hiding. Without her representatives to enact Her will, Nespera's influence on the land has rapidly diminished and a new reign of darkness has risen over the realm.

Members

Alcochete - The first sorceress selected by Nespera who carries the teeth of the Goddess so as to act as her voice.
Limpanos - A Dryad that occupied Nespera's favorite tree, trusted with the heel of the Goddess representing her connection to the ground.
Caillte - Known as the Wayward Pilgrim who worked tirelessly to spread Nespera's word. Holds the eye of the Goddess to ensure she always walks the right path.
Afonydd - The boatman who used his fishing net to save drowning souls. Holds the Goddesses Tibia.
Vagar - The witch who faced down death by mastering time. Holds the Goddesses ear as one of her most trusted advisors.
Fíonnuar - The mother of Naiads who blessed Mag Duinn with water, she carries the blood of the Goddess.
Colma - Oldest of the triplet sisters who delivers whispers on the wind, and holds the wing of the goddess.
Fabhtanna - The middle sister who rejected the surface and sought shelter in the caves of the realm. She is festooned with the intestines of the Goddess.
Easóg - The youngest sister who, from the surface, sought to act as a catalyst of unity. She was given the tail of the Goddess
Adaiwen - The silver raven who vowed to bring music to a solemn land. Adaiwen carried the tendons of the Goddess.
Croíasc - Mother of the Bog, this witch gave shelter to the creatures of filth and transformed the swamp into a thriving paradise. She holds the skin of the Goddess.
Samhnas - A faun born from a living seed, Samhnas was a known trickster who abandoned her games to follow the Goddess. She carries the hair of the Goddess.
Bancott - The youngest of the witches on the coven, Bancott was a gifted seer and was deeply endeared to the Goddess. Her gift has always been held in secret.
