Adeline das Flores
Raised as a deeply pious woman, Adeline is the spiritual center of the Fellowship of the Seven Petals. Her calm compassion and innate maternal instincts have made her the stoic heart at the center of a chaotic band of heroes.
Early Life
Adeline was born into poverty in a large family of farmers on the outer terraces of Conexão. She spent most of her early childhood doing heavy labor on the farm. At the age of 8 the high priest of the temple of Bástea arrived to speak with her parents. According to the priest São Tomé, a prophetic vision lead him to their farm where his goddess assured him that he would find a fated priestess. Due to their financial circumstances, when Tomé offered her family a sizable donation to groom her for a leadership role in the temple, they were more than eager to accept.
At the age of 8 Adeline moved to the temple where she was taught the gifts of purification, healing and blessing the water. By the time she was 16, she ascended to the position of priestess of The Western Pools; the healing springs of Serra da Vigília. She was the youngest person to take such a position, and believed she would serve in solitude for the rest of her life.
This trajectory would take a dramatic turn when a prophetic dream brought Bixo das Flores into her life.
The Seven Petals
Despite her vows and the detachment she felt towards others, Adeline was immediately shaken by meeting Bixo and Marçal Passante, who came to her springs to inquire about a dream she reported to Tomé. She knew the dream was significant, but assumed it was a message foretelling a challenge for someone else; she had no idea that it was a harbinger for dramatic change in her life, as well.
When it became clear that she would be needed to vanquish the mounting darkness that had taken root in the mountains of Luavila, she had to make a big decision. Seeking council with the High Priest Tomé, she asked for his guidance on the matter. While he refused to tell her what to do, he insisted that she already knew the path she would walk - and he gave her his blessing to explore whatever direction she wished to take.
Family Life
Having left the monastic life, Adeline was free to engage with the secular pleasures of the body. Without any artificial barrier, she and Bixo das Flores fell in love during the Rise of the Seven Petals. When they founded the House of Blossoms, the two of them immediately adopted Lina and together they became a family overnight. It was as if it had always been.
Shortly after, Adeline became pregnant and gave birth to Ana das Flores in 3'3238. The child was a deeper blessing on an already beautiful family life - all three of them doted on the child, who grew up whip-smart and deeply compassionate.
The das Flores family would later expand further with the next generation. Ana, who took two partners in a triadic relationship, gave birth to a daughter Lucretia das Flores with her partner Vasco Vaz; a second child was born of this union between Vasco and Mira Orimar they named Isaac das Flores. Both children were raised as siblings, and were accepted as legitimate members of the family with equal care.
Lina and her partner Kavita Vahamonde das Flores also had a child in 3'3258 through divine intervention which they named Beatrice das Flores.
Guardian of the Waters

From here she was able to perform her ritual blessings, healings and ceremonies - not only for the fellowship, but for the entire region. After São Tomé's passing, she also handled the bureaucratic matters of the temple until a new High Priest was appointed. During this time she established an order and hierarchy for the temple that helped to organize activities and direct aid to the specific areas that were suffering.
Part of her restructuring was also to enact a mentoring program where acolytes could work directly with priests towards leadership roles. She, herself, hosted a number of apprentice monks as students - one of which was the son of Gael and Seliyar; Adro Novo-Caelão who would later be appointed to the position of High Priest of Bástea.
